We hebben een zware rit voor de boeg vandaag, niet allen voor ons zelf maar voornamelijk voor de auto\u2019s. Van te voren was bekend dat de wegen slecht zouden zijn, maar dit slaat echt alles, enorme kuilen, rotsen en een soort wasbord gravel waar de auto op kapot trillen. Maar wel bijzonder, want we zijn nauwelijks 10 minituten Moyale uit of wel zien een soort antiloop over de weg rennen. Dat hebben we in Ethiopi\u00eb niet gezien! We komen vrij laat in de middag aan in een klein dorpje genaamd Turbi. We hadden het plan opgevat om de tent op te zetten maar dat blijkt niet nodig, we kunnen slapen in een paar eenvoudige kamers vlak naast het politie bureau. We hebben zelfs een bewaker (met een enorm geweer) voor de nacht.
