A charity tour for orphan children

Trudy and Dirk Regter from the Netherlands go on a world tour in a 1915 Ford Model T, covering all continents of the world. They are making this trip with the aim of raising money for orphans worldwide.

To date, they have driven 64,000 miles across 31 countries and have raised more than $45,000 spent on children's projects in Colombia and Bolivia. An earlier trip by Dirk in 2007 from Beijing to Paris in the Model T raised more than $140,000, of which 2 children's projects were built in Mongolia. The last part of their world tour, about 10,500 miles, takes them back home to the Netherlands via Asia. If you support the purpose of this journey, you can take ownership of some of these 10,500 miles of this final leg.

Buy your miles and thus contribute to a better future for orphans.

    Comming soon to New Zealand

Posted on 4 December 2017 by DirkJan

Last Thursday morning, 30th of November, we loaded the Model T and the Landrover in the drizzly rain in the harbour of Amsterdam.

The days before we have cleaned the cars thoroughly, otherwise they can not enter New Zealand.

At the end of January next year they arrive in Christchurch on the southern island of New Zealand.
There we pick up the cars and then start our journey through New Zealand, with Steef and Greetje Reilingh as a team in the Landrover.

      Hi Dirk,
Do you have an itinerary for your Australian adventure? I’m emailing on behalf of a Model T owner who is a friend of mine, and he would love to know the plans you have for your trip within Australia. Are you coming to Canberra, our nation’s capital? If so, do you know when?

Hi, Loes vanuit Hastings NZ. Februari is Art Deco Festival in Napier.
