A charity tour for orphan children

Trudy and Dirk Regter from the Netherlands make a world tour in a 1915 Ford Model T, covering all the continents of the world. They make this trip with the aim of collecting money for orphan children worldwide.

So far they have driven 60,000 miles through 31 countries and have raised over $45,000 that is spent on children's projects in South America.

The last part of this journey goes via Asia back to the Netherlands.

If you support the aim of this trip your donation will be highly appreciated.

This is the first time I have heard of your travels in a Model T. What an adventure. We really hope you make plans to stop by SoCal to meet our many T clubs here locally?

I’ll be following you and rooting you best of luck!

      Hi Dirk,
My name is Mitch Taylor, I’m the creator of http://www.fordmodelt.net

Great to see your Model T back on the road again, I’d love to meet you when you come to Australia, I see on your map that your route comes right past where I live… It would be great to get a photo with your Model T, and my Model T together. What a fantastic journey for a great cause, to help the children – great work 🙂

I’ve attached a picture of me with my 1925 Ford Model T touring.

      Best regards,
      Mitch Taylor

PS. I sent an email to you via your website, I’m not sure if it got through.

Hi Dirk & Trudy. It was great that you managed to give us a call & we were able to meet you when you were in Cambridge NZ. We really enjoyed the time we spent with you and I would say the fellow members of the Waikato Veteran & Vintage Car Club will be talking about your sudden appearance at our club night for some time. Both myself & Lorraine wish you a safe and enjoyable trip and hope that the NZ part of the world tour was well worth coming to. All the best in your travels.
Bryan & Lorraine Cossey. Cambridge NZ. PS Hope the Waikato beer tasted good.
