The plans have changed,
To spare the T-Ford and to give Dirk his rest so that he is fit again for the rest of the trip, we decided not to take the T-Ford into the Pamir.
We park the Ford at the HotelManager in his ‘patio’.
And Dirk and Trudy are taking a 2-week holiday in the back of the Landrover.
Pack your stuff and tie it up on the roof and off we go!!
From busy Dushanbe it becomes increasingly quiet, the road is beautiful and the views become more and more beautiful!
Dirk and Trudy sit comfortably in the back and Danny and Dirk-jan alternate driving.
On the way we buy a melon.
We climb higher and higher, it is beautiful
After a 267km drive we stop at a Homestay in Soho.
They have a beautiful sink outside, and a ‘shitting room’ with a hole in the ground in the garden. This takes some getting used to for the new drivers 😊
