Today is Dirk and Trudy’s wedding anniversary: 52 years, so that’s worth celebrating!
To mark this occasion, we are taking a nice ride there today 😀
On the way we buy a delicious ice cream and Trudy makes pastries with coffee.
Danny has been looking for slippers for days, and they are actually on the side of the road, unfortunately no left and right set…
After a long drive with 1 road closure, we ask for a place to sleep and we are taken somewhere by a man who rides along, 30 km of bumping.
They have no food, but they do have a kitchenette, brown water comes out of the tap and they still have to thoroughly clean the toilet.
According to Danny, people are murdered here at night, cut up in the toilet and burned in the hole next to the hotel… he watches too many movies that boy 😀.
Danny and Trudy cook dinner and we sleep peacefully… 173km, 1800m. He’s doing great!!!
