A charity tour for orphan children

Trudy and Dirk Regter from the Netherlands go on a world tour in a 1915 Ford Model T, covering all continents of the world. They are making this trip with the aim of raising money for orphans worldwide.

To date, they have driven 64,000 miles across 31 countries and have raised more than $45,000 spent on children's projects in Colombia and Bolivia. An earlier trip by Dirk in 2007 from Beijing to Paris in the Model T raised more than $140,000, of which 2 children's projects were built in Mongolia. The last part of their world tour, about 10,500 miles, takes them back home to the Netherlands via Asia. If you support the purpose of this journey, you can take ownership of some of these 10,500 miles of this final leg.

Yesterday we made reports and Dirk took extra care of the T-Ford.

Dirk has made the plan to have a new steering rod made, which will be stronger than the rod that is currently under the T-Ford and the spare rod. After consultation with Dirk-jan, he made a design and Dirk-jan will discuss it with Ruud Komen from Deltour.

To send this he uses the internet in the office.

He hears about it from the director.

the plans for new or renovation to expand and makes a design for her.

Back in the ger we are treated to a delicious BBQ. We sing many songs together and that is a nice end to our visit here in Bayanhongor. Tomorrow, we leave again, but first we get custom-made Mongolian clothing.

So we kind of fit in here.
